What is Lee Reading this Summer!?

The time has come! I am finally free from the stress and burdens of school and all I plan to do this summer is READ....along with a whole bunch of time consuming summer activities. With summer comes reading all day and then staying up extremely late reading. Above is the list of books I will be trying to read this summer. I know I will not likely get to all since my summer is packed to the brim but I will try to read all 15 books on my list. Now let me explain to you how I am going to go about this.
Let us start with my school assignment books. So I am taking AP Literature next year which only makes sense since I love reading so much. The required books are How to Read Literature Like a Professor by Thomas C. Foster and East of Eden by John Steinbeck. After I finish the book I am currently reading I will read Foster's book because on July 4th I am taking a two week vacation to California and I plan on purchasing the audio book of East of Eden so I can read that on the plan and during the 8 hours car ride from Los Angles to San Fransisco. That way when I come back on the 18th, I will have finished my summer assignment.
Next I will read The One by Kiera Cass because most of you told me I should just finish the series so see what happens between America, Maxon and the other who shall not be named (Aspen). It should be a quick read for me. I finished The Selection in a day and The Elite in another so I have no worries about The One. Next I want to finish Never Fade and In the Afterlight so I can move onto Alexandra Bracken's new book Passenger which is coming out in January 5th 2016. I started Never Fade a long time ago but it never hooked me, but I still love the character and what to finish the series.
Next on my list is the Deadly Class by Rick Remender and this is the first graphic novel I have every owned. I want to read this to see how I like it and then if I do I will continue with this story and continue to read more graphic novels. Next on my list I have Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead which I am not sure I will get to. I have been dying to read another Vampire Academy book but I do not know if I will have time this summer because I am also getting a job, volunteering at a hospital and taking a 10 day law course at Yale so I might not be able to squeeze this one in.
For my summer rereads I know that I for a fact want to reread Heir of Fire by Sarah J Mass because Queen of Shadows is coming out soon and I need a refresher. The last time i read a Throne of Glass book was back in May when I received Heir of Fire at BEA, but when I try to talk to my friends about it I forget everything that happened. I would also like to reread the entire Percy Jackson series because I haven't read them since I was young and I want to reread them before I read the Heroes of Olympus series. I know you do not have to in order to read the next series but I would like to in order to refamilliarize myself with the world.
And if after I read all of that and still have time I will pick two books from my TBR Jar and read them! But other wise, is is my summer. Spent reading all day and night in my room reading till 4 AM. What are some of the books on your Summer Reading List?! Leave a comment below!

Thanks Hons

    1. I honestly wish I read it last year for Lang. It would have helped me out with the Scarlett Letter and The Great Gatsby! I had to read Huck Finn for my AP Lang reading

  8. Oh my gosh a 10 day law course! That's awesome. I wish I could take one.

When I was in AP Lit in high school, I used the summer to read as well. Bad thing is that I found out they had changed the books, lol.

I'd love to re-read the Vampire Academy series some day! I thought it was really fun and inventive.

For the summer I plan on tackling some of the physical books I own... I only ever seen to read either from the library or digital books. Need to fix that.

    Have a great summer :)
